Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esra Özbaşlı has been providing services in the fields of minimal gynecological surgery (laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery), robotic surgery, genital aesthetic surgery, pregnancy follow-up – delivery, menopause, family planning (contraception) and urogynecology (urinary incontinence treatment) in her own clinic in Nişantaşı since 2023. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esra Özbaşlı has advanced knowledge of English and is authorized by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey with the Foreign Patient Tourism Certificate and also provides follow-up and treatment of foreign patients in her clinic.

After successfully graduating from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2002, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esra Özbaşlı completed her specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Istanbul Zeynep Kamil Women and Children’s Diseases Training and Research Hospital. During this time, she worked as an Observer at the New York University Gynecopathology Clinic in the USA. He completed his compulsory service at Ardahan Göle State Hospital in 2009.

The Pap smear test is a screening test for the early detection of cervical cancer. It is recommended to be done every 3 years from the age of 21. After the age of 30, it can be done every 5 years together with the HPV test.

The recovery process after birth varies from person to person. It is generally recommended to return to work 6 weeks after a vaginal birth and 8 weeks after a cesarean. However, these times may vary depending on your doctor’s advice.
