Meet Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esra Özbaşlı
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esra Özbaşlı has been providing services in the fields of minimal gynecological surgery (laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery), robotic surgery, genital aesthetic surgery, pregnancy follow-up – delivery, menopause, family planning (contraception) and urogynecology (urinary incontinence treatment) in her own clinic in Nişantaşı since 2023. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esra Özbaşlı has advanced knowledge of English and is authorized by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey with the Foreign Patient Tourism Certificate and also provides follow-up and treatment of foreign patients in her clinic.
After successfully graduating from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2002, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esra Özbaşlı completed her specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Istanbul Zeynep Kamil Women and Children’s Diseases Training and Research Hospital. During this time, she worked as an Observer at the New York University Gynecopathology Clinic in the USA. He completed his compulsory service at Ardahan Göle State Hospital in 2009.
After his compulsory service, he started working at Acıbadem Maslak Hospital Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic in 2010. After working as an academician at Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University for 12 years between 2012-2023, he completed the necessary academic criteria and received the title of associate professor by publishing his articles in many respected international scientific journals published in Pubmed. During this period, he provided medical education to many medical students, gynecology and obstetrics residents and genital aesthetic surgery and urogynecology training to many colleagues.
In 2013, he completed his training at the IRCAD-EITS da Vinci Robotic Surgery Center at the Strasburg University Hospital in France and received the da Vinci Robotic Surgery Console Surgeon certificate. In addition, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esra Özbaşlı, who has been working in the field of genital aesthetic surgery and urogynecology for many years, also has a CPD and IPHM certificate in the field of Genital Aesthetics and Cosmetic Gynecology.
In addition to examining patients in her office, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esra Özbaşlı performs minor surgical procedures such as colposcopic examination and biopsy, cauterization, genital mesotherapy, coil placement, subcutaneous implant placement, Non-stress test (NST), Erb:YAG/ND:YAG laser device (TimeWalker® IntimaLaserTM PRO, Fotona) condyloma excision.
